  • Civil Engineering Grade obtained in Mexico in 1994.
  • Master of Science Degree in Planning and Construction obtained in Mexico.
  • 4 Years experience in Mexico on Construction and Design of Steel Structures, Metal Roofs and Industrial Construction.
  • 6 years experience in Mexico on Construction and Design of Dwelling Projects.
  • During the period of 2004 to 2006 Leo taught courses at La Salle University in Mexico, such as: Construction Procedures, Evaluation of Projects and Cost Estimates.
  • 2 years working in Chicago, Illinois as Designer of Wood and Steel Structures.
  • Leo is interested in design of new construction technologies for houses and smart buildings, environmentally friendly. As a structural engineer, in his spare time, he is designing a prefabricated hybrid system, which involves light structures of steel and concrete and insulated panels with a low rate of maintenance for housing projects.

Martin Bayrack CAHPI # 009-038

Martin Bayrack joins us as Michel Bourgeois’ 4th employee inspector. Michel runs an ever expanding, successful business and found himself this year with more business than his 3 existing employees could handle. As a result, Michel’s search yielded him an exceptional new addition to his growing team.

  • Completed the Pillar to Post online master curriculum course.
  • Completed the 10-day Pillar To Post Home Inspection course in Toronto, Ontario.
  • Completed 10 on-site training inspections and has shadowed senior inspectors up to 50 plus inspections.
  • Currently completed 4 of the 12 Carson Dunlop Courses: Structure, Heating, Roofing, and Electrical.
  • Past experience: Complete home renovations: plumbing, framing, roofing, siding, heating/ducting, door/windows, drywall, flooring and finishing’s.
  • Install sales coordinator for a box store chain. Conducting many of the “IC4” home improvement courses.
  • Completed all courses for National Certification, requires 150 paid inspection to become certified.
  • Working towards his designation as an R.H.I. (Registered Home Inspector}.
  • When not performing inspections Martin is a part time tattoo artist of 4yrs and a volunteer head coach for his two not so little hockey all stars. He also enjoys movies, video games, renovating and spending as much time with his best friend and wife of 9 yrs.

  • Journeyman Plumber, Gasfitter & Steamfitter.

  • Certified Safety Codes Officer # 187 (SCO) registered with theSafety Codes Council of Alberta and the Province of Alberta in theGroup 3 (Building) and 4B (Mechanical) Designations.
  • Member of the Alberta Building Officials Association since 1988.
  • Nineteen years experience conducting municipal inspections and providing enforcement of the Alberta Building Regulations pertaining to the construction and renovation of new buildings.
